drove it 50 miles to and from work.. in between drove it hard took a coworker home and wanted me to open it up.he thought it was fun i thought big waist of gas lol

 

2 steps ahead of you man. I used 15 lbs of that already in conjunction with a hammer and there is still some residual tar left over. The rear fender arches were the worst place, I'm wire wheeling the rest of it out because I'm repainting the interior of the car white and lumpy tar shit everywhere sucks when you're sanding. I'll post a pic when it's done.

 

Having nice carpet sounds so much better than all of that stuff.

 

Dude, screw sanding and wire brush. Go get some Matsenbacher's Lift Off. It's like a spray can of stuff similar to Goo Gone. That and a rag will get the residue off and not screw up the factory primer. You can get it at Ace Hardware. I use it all the time for any type of tar or sticker. It's magic.
