SPL replacement RUCA's are in. I think they switched over to a thicker tubing because the new ones seem a bit heavier than I remember.

 

I would hope they changed something after 2 fractured RUCAS

 

Both problem RUCA's came from the same batch that was made with bad tubing and recalled, the ones on my car right now where supposed to be temp replacements untill the new ones were made, but I never got the new set untill now. There were only 4 reported cases of them cracking. I've already said that in my thread.

I actually dont think the current ones are cracked either, it might just be the chrome plating, but I didnt want to take the chance. I'll take a better look once I get them off the car this weekend.

 

I don't care how many cases etc. Fact to me is you (Might of) gotten a bad batch 2 times, and i was glad to hear they sent you something that was different.
