Picked up the S14 SR longblock and spare NA head from Epstein. After owning a 240 for 5 years now its finally time for an upgrade.

haha, yeah I'm pretty excited to get to work. I've waited long enough.

I cleaned out the side shed today to make room for the new stuff.

Plans are

S14SR
NA S14 SR cams
S15 turbo/ported stock manifold
STi injectors
New gaskets
New oil-pump
New water pump
Aftermarket head gasket
New bearings
New piston rings
Stage 1 or 2 clutch
3" exhaust
Intercooler
Few other misc things
10-12lbs of boost and I'll be happy.

^^^^sounds like fun! today i suffered from pain from a nasty spider bite I acquired while working on it in the previous days. I did enjoy driving it with no oil leaks, next up coilovers and ka-t.

 

Motor stuff wont really start untill october, I have alot of other things to take care of during the next month.

But I have 2 valve covers to play with. One is going to be a shaved then painted a dark green metallic flake, and the other will be polished. I'll see which one I like more and sell the other.

And yes, response is what I'm looking for. After driving Erics car, thats all I want. I would of been in alot of fucking trouble if I had even 250hp up in the mountains.
