Datsun Dreaming
Is this on a KA? How about the cap and rotor? Random misfire under basically all conditions rules out something being straight broken. This, the plugs, and the wires are the only parts that really wear out.

Yeah its a ka. I changed the plugs not to long ago so I don't believe its them. I changed the cap and rotor, but to used ones that I had already. I Haven't changed the wires recently,I'll take another look at them see If I find any nicks or something. Thanks For the help.
what would you tire experts suggest, nitto nt450s, or dunlop direzzas as front tires. i get these for cheap so i dont care about them not being amazing tires so dont say neither. just trying to see what is better because there both the same price.
Ok...So I Set it to tdc. Then I set the rotor to the cylinder 1 wire. car started but died within a few seconds.. So then i figured I was 180 out. So I did it all over again, set it to tdc and then the rotor to cylinder 1 and now it won't start... So basically I'm confused. Any one have any ideas? Should I set it back 180 to when it started but died?
If it ran, then died it wasnt 180 out obviously.
Check your ECU and see if your knock sensor is giving you problems. It might be pulling timing. I've had that issue recently.
Get a timing gun and see where your at.
