You're essentially double gasketing the flange and it will leak again. All of the 'necks used to combine RTV and cork gaskets and it made me batshit crazy. A new OEM gasket would be a better choice.

^ I used the brand new hks gaskets that came with the exhaust when I did this. I haven't had any problems or issues with leaks.

Figured out there's a short in the wiring for my speakers. I'm gonna have to re-do the wiring to my speakers, and while I'm at it, I want to replace the speakers. Anyone know any good ones?

Tim, I let the copper rtv dry for an hour. Ive never had a leak using it, so I would recommend it.

Ive used new nissan gaskets and they leaked, and Im still N/a.

i have all brand new gaskets that are maybe like 5000 miles old and they leak.

i dont really care if they leak later. as long as its fixed for a little while.
its not really double gasketing i think, its filling in voids in the metal gasket.
whatevs. ill give it a try.

Mix one part welding with several parts Vband clamp kits, shake well, and you wont have any leaks after

Just seems like a lot of effort, I just ran these on the turbo to manifold
Genuine OEM Nissan T25 T28 Turbo Turbine Locking Tab

And these on the turbo to manifold, and turbo to elbow:
FRSport Turbine Outlet 8mm (1.25pitch) Locking Head Nut

Stayed sealed up like tupperware
