I use the copper RTV on my exhaust, never used it that close to the header. But I know some people that have, and never had an issue.

I coated all of mine in rtv ultra grey installed them and let sit for 24 hours to cure. Then I installed the exhaust as 1 piece. No leaks whatsoever.

Got the Q aligned and finally it drives straight and doesn't shake

Toe was off by over a degree....New tires actually grip the road too!
