He's saying that his IC is mounted where the stock radiator used to sit.
What kind of moron would run a motor with no radiator? Maybe the Cookie Monster
His radiator should be mounted in front of the IC near the ground with a E-fan to help pull in air.

 

i think you can do it cheaper then 2g ask around call some of the shops i know taylor has the know how on doing it.

and i decided that I want to powdercoat my
intercooler black so I can go sleeper style!

What's the purpose of having a IC if you powdercoat it???
You might as well run a hot pipe
Just use cheap flat black aerosol paint. Coat it VERY little. Or google search for radiator paint. They are out there, and are formulated to not ruin the efficiency of the IC.

Baller intercooler setup is something nobody in the nissan forum can do. Air to water. It is the ultimate sleeper setup and provides the coldest air intake temps. Most people who are going for the 4 digit HP barrier have them. good luck
