look at the threads i start...look at my post count...am i in the category you speak of?
dude dont get pissed because someone likes the s15...have you seen the gts-t skylines running around the tampa area...riced out more than most civics...
personally i'd also rather have a S30,Z33,or G35 over any 240(s13, s14, s14a)...and my "dream" nissan is a datsun fairlady 2000...but do i have the money to restore the old ones (my s12 hatch has sat for 10 months with no attention) or buy the new ones...no
now any GT-R is a better choice than the s-15 there is no doubt about it, but how can you compare the IMSA Z32 to the Z's we're used to seeing (usually on bigass chrome wheels and driven by black guys)
240s are a cheap rwd car, thats why most of us have them

240sx's are very cheap and very reliable when not used for "drifting".
With that said, It is very obvious why their are more users with the said car than any other in this forum. Besides , who cares this thread is not going to stop or change any time soon. Just ignore it , if you want other cars discussed or more technical questions then do it yourself. I am personally a newb and this site helps me enjoy my boring life.

Sentra's are cheap, pulsars are cheap, hardbodys are cheap. It's not about cheap, it's about being on a bandwagon.... You haven't been here long enough to make calls on what will change and what wont' stay out of my thread newbie.

As far as it becoming predominantly S13/14... Nissan is the one that did this to you. They stopped making real cars in 1998 (or some would say 1996). So there is a huge gap in affordable, easily tuned, attactive cars for people to buy or for a market to build around. Z32 tuning platform died in Japan before production ended. We never got a Skyline. B13's are getting older than dirt and have extremely high mileage. B14's were a bust. Neither B-chassis has a place to exercise their vehicle outside of autocross (SE-R cup = dead). The world's population of 80's Nissan hardware tech threads couldn't fill up our local board. 240sx is THE popular car. Not just in Nissan, but in all imports.
