its a bad switch. replace the sleepy eye button. lmk if that works.

 

YAY i think i found out the problem! Bad relay. Its a electronic switch under the hood in the fusebox. It controls the eyelids function of going down.

Some guy said he would stop by today and give me a new one for free. Lets hope it works.

Uhh they work now...for no reason...
The kid came over and twisted some knobs and pressed the eye down/up button and somehow they started working again although no wires were ever cut... o_O

i had the same problem. i tested everything all relays, fuses, changed the button that makes the headlights go up and down, still didn't work. i finally changed the headlight switch on the column, and that solved it.
