Default 240 eyelid problem

The day I got my car the eyelids stopped opening/closing. Whats the most common thing to go wrong what could cause this? Thanks.

EDIT: They only go up and wont go back down o_O

Unhook battery.

Hand crank them down half way. All the way around one full rotation so the motor and bar self set themselves.

Make sure lights are off, and the button on the left hand side of the gauge cluster isnt pressed.

Hook battery backup.

If the lights reset themselves closed your good if not and they only go up, try forcing them to go a full rotation sometimes they will get stuck.

If they still only go up.

fuck if I know.

yea if the brown wirer is cut in the button (the lazy eye trick) then if the button is pushed in then wen u turn on ur lights or flash your highs they will go up but not down wen u turn them off, if ur lucky all you have to do is push the button

i have known many a 240 to have the headlight switch itself go bad.. try pushing in on the switch (towards the steering wheel) while your turning it.. mine went up and not down for like 4 months.. then i did that one day when turning off my lights and they went down.. now all i have to do is put a little pressure on the switch and they work fine hope this helps
