Good Compression, but still smoke????
basic hand tools mostly
Torque wrench
10-18mil sockets and wrenches
extensions/swivel joints
ect ect.
your going to need a new hg if you take the head off.

He drove it around the neighbor hood a cpl times, but u can feel inside the exhaust and it feels like oil. I thought the guy that put the seals in did somethin wrong especially when the compression was good
Yeah I basically know how to do it, but I didnt know if I needed some kind of special tool for the valve seals, and I was hopin I could change them while the head was still on but oh well
you'll need a valve spring compressor, and air compressor witht he spark plug adaptor to fill the cylinder with air so the valves dont drop. You have'll have to remove the cams and the timing belt im sure as well.

Is there a valve spring compressoor that dosnt go to the other side of the head and push against the face of the valve?

im assuming you meant to say if the coolant smells like exhaust. but im pretty sure thats not his problem here.
i can redo the valve guide seals if needed. typically, seals that have gone bad will smoke upon startup, at wide open throttle and really bad ones during decel. they typically dont smoke while just idling.
