Thanks for the input guys.
After thinking about it and hearing what most of you had to say, I probably will go with a 95-96...maybe even a 97-98 if I can afford it.

Its gonna be a daily driver, so I'd like it to be somewhat modern and in good condition.
And now that John brings up the "burlap" interior...I remember how cheap the interior of the 2nd gen 240's are.

get a 95..great base to start on...cheap too..5 lug isnt too much of a big deal unless you are purchasing aftermarket wheels..and kouki conversion is about a grand? milanoteg98 did his kouki conversion pretty cheap..

just find one in MANUAL..driveshaft is a bitch to get at a normal price

Holy shit, Mike!!

I remember you from USF way back in the day. I had the old busted 400horsepower Z31 300ZX. You and Tony and I would talk about cars non stop. hahaha. back int he day. dang.

I'm a professional drifter now, in SCCA Formula D. Hit me up on aim - thesocialmoth - if you want to discuss some of this, or private message me! I can give you the real deal on all these cars, and what it means in the real world bottom line.

Hah...yeah man, I thought it was you.
I saw "Matt Back" in your sig...and I remember that from way back.
Its been awhile man, I havnt talked to Tony in years.
I was deployed to Iraq for about a year, and I kinda got out of the car scene...got interested in bikes. I owned a 95 SE for about a year before I left for Iraq and I sold it when I got back. I regret selling it now, because it was the most fun car Ive ever had.

Thats awsome that your a Pro Drifter...your gonna have to gimme some pointers.

Anyway, Ill hit you up sometime.
-Mike.
