bought 235/60-15 BFG DR's. hopefully i'll have some better luck with them than patrick does these are a tad taller than stock size, im still new to drag racing and tire sizes. i'd like to hit the traps at the top of 4th, but still doing my HW on all that.

BFG DR's 225-50-15 Last time I was at the track I was cutting 2.3 -2.6 60 foot times WITH the BFG DR's.... 2x at my drag racing skills.

FYI: I almost killed myself on 205-50-15 Azenis at Sunshine. Both tires broke loose when I shifted into second gear and the cars was pointed at the wall for what seemed like hours, but was only a second or two.

patrick, what suspension do you have? if coilovers, what settings? lol. i edited my post above since i went ahead with BFG. hope i fare better than you did...but i got to thinking you're probably on some hardass road racing coilover setup lol. i'm on stock suspension as far as height and dampening goes. as far as relevant mods to the drag strip, i have a j30 vlsd + 5 bolt axle setup, subframe collars, t/c rods, tie rods ends, and f & r ST sway bars. i need to talk to some drag racing gurus to see what they suggest as far as the sway bars go, ive heard cars disconnecting them before, but i believe that was in relevance to solid axle cars....not sure.

yea, tein ha's... they are super stiff, I don't remember the setting, and it was March so the air was a lot cooler. I heated the tires but not enough... I guess. This was sunshine... from what I hear BMP has great track prep at these events, so you should be fine.

I'll be there, should have enough miles on the new motor by then to turn up the boost a little.

HOLY HOT NISSAN'S BATMAN!!! Definitely a better nissan crowd than NH(i lived there my whole life until august 1st!!) I am definitely going. I wanna se the two step in action. I have one for my dsm and it is the hotness!!! My best is a 13.1 @ 107 mph at NED with a boost leak(and whatever tires i could find for free!) Now that the leak is fixed i would love to hit 12's. hopefully if i make some money before then i could get my injectors and maf in and tune her for more boost (18 ish??). Im gonna sign up though just to see the freakin 2 step monster!!! that should be nasty!

yeah I gave mine to Norlandt they sucked so bad now you wont see me in nothing but 10 in wide Mickey Thompson rubbers on the rear. BFG's are the next best but nothing will test your drive train like M/T's will.
