She also said she will whoop any KA-T on here for fun. Good luck, See you guys there!

Ever seen a 240 2 step out of the hole @ 18 psi?
nope, but i have seen one do it out of the hole at 25 psi its fun! line lock + slicks + 2 step = yes plz!!!

good luck, a 10 sec pass locally would be sweet, but its definately easier to make the power than it is to get it to work for you in teh right way

tell the wifey to give me about 3 buslengths and then launch, thats the only way ill have a chance

and i might take you up on the launching advice. ive read a few articles and practiced a little but its not easy to do on the streets without being paranoid of stuff. KA-T launches are a little different than SRs due ot the powerband, and i hear everyone has their own way of doing it. i've just read that a target is to launch just below peak torque or something.

Lauching my car is the devil. 4000rpm = bog; 5000 = spinning dr's. It looks like I will will have to launch at 5000 and feather the clutch, which is very difficult. The clutch grabs right away.... almost like an unsprung.

Craig, it's the clutch..... it's the toughest clutch I have ever delt with... when it's hot it sticks, which is good for road racing applications, but is a PITA when launching at the strip.

Who's knows if you are there you may get to take her for a trip down the 1320.

well seeing as how i already plopped down $280 for a new alternator, i don't need it now. the thing is, my alternator is fine, i tested it with a multimeter and i'm getting ~13.95V at idle. i just keep frying the positive cable that connects to the alternator. i'm tired of it doing this and leaving me stranded in the middle of no where, havign to ghetto rig it so i can use my car.

oh yeah i forgot to add i need to get my bikirom in and tuned
