Bottom End Thrust Bearings
Sorry to both of you for obviously using my brain instead of going with the crowd and believe a couple of people who obviously have something to gain by scaring others who just might read the crap you have been spewing from the hole in your faces. It did not fail and I did do it and if you bothered to read before you typed (assuming you can read) you would have noticed that I said I did not build the bottom end of this motor! Someone else did. The thrust bearing swap would have worked just fine if everything else in the bottom end had been in order. At the same time the thrust bearings would not have done what they did in the first place if it was not for me letting a machine shop do my work for me. Believe me that is the last time I let a machine shop that is not experienced with SR20's do anything for me again.

That is a true statement, if we were talking about the future, but we are not. I am speaking of the present. Right now, at this moment, there resides a brand new set of thrust bearings in the bottom end of my motor. I did NOT take the motor out of the vehicle to put them in. Your arguments were based on your opinion, which I greatly appreciate, but then to attack me because I decided to use my own idea instead of yours. You had no proof to back your opinion up. Which is also why I decided to go ahead and try the thrust bearing swap in the car. At the very worst, what could have happened was a little time lost. Thank you for your opinion and for showing what kind of intelligence people can expect from people like you.

i cant read?! how about you cant explain anything without shrouded vagueness. how does this line mean someone else already built the motor? this tells me that the motor hadnt been rebuilt yet and you were mearely explaining that it was a stock motor; untouched.
so dont tell me i cant read, asshole. the only reason why we are giving you shit is bc you are a pretentious, pompous asshole who link he runs the world with your 'innovative and progressive' thinking.
so what was wrong with the bottom end that caused the thrust bearings to fail? you said a machine shop fucked it up. how? how did the previosu builder fuck it up? what stood in your way? the rods only go in one way, the crank only fits one way... what did they do wrong? im interested in knowing... i want to be innovative and progressive.

Oh and one other thing nobody is upset I am sure Taylor's feeling are not hurt by you not listening to him, he is probably amused by all this.
Hope you learned something about your car and yourself. good luck rebuilding
