thrust bearings dont cause rodknock, rebuilding a nissan motor in 98 degree weather does. those motors are tolranced for 68 degree temps.. i mean, i would assume once you remove any bearing caps, you replaced them with new bearings... and also plastigauged, etc... but thats just the delicate way of thinking i have... you know.. the part that doesnt allow me to half ass shit.

Sorry I have a life other than the internet and my computer. Like I said it was a probloem that was UNDERLYING. I did not build the engine in the first place. I am now going to build it myself.

 

I do not regularly use my internet for anything other than e-mail and paying bills and that would explain the length of time from one post to the other. I can tell you that this would have worked had there not been other problems that I did not know about.
