Its on a 91 s13 KA, it seems that the number one cylinder isnt firing.

the car runs like hell, i have to put my foot on the gas just to get it started and it takes 10 seconds worth or cranking to get it running, it also idles like crap the whole car shakes, and it back fires every time i left off the gas.

i have fuel, my compression is 150 and i replaced my plugs and wires but it seems i have a really weak spark.

it runs the same even when i unplug my injector. so im guessing its something with my ignition?? any suggestions would be of great help.

Do the standard shit..

Plugs , cap, rotor, wires.....

Then if that dosent work, check for a stuck injector.. But do the cheap maintence shit first.

 

he's already done plugs and wires, check for spark, then change distributor if there's no spark.

 

id say prolly something in your ign. u chekc your dist. and make sure thats working correctly?

 

i just put on a new dist cap 2 weeks ago, and my injector works fine, the car is spitting out gas like crazy since none of it is getting burned. and there is spark its just not very good

 

You have a leaking injector perhaps. Been there, same symptoms. Check contnuity on your injector harness too.

I dont think so because the car is running super rich and my old spark plug that was on the cylinder was Fouled up bad.

it was a bosch platinum 4 plug that i had put in only 3 months ago.
but ill check it anyways thanks for the tip.

 

Did you try changing the wire that goes to that plug yet???

 

Sorry for not being clear - I meant torn o-rings on the injector. That was my case, similar symptoms.
