Rpm's bouncing

SOHC KA, just swapped it in, other motor was blown.
RPM'S are normal until 4500 then they start bouncing iratically.
it doesn't sound like its missing or anything...any ideas?

could it be my coil takin a shit under high load? c'mon, i know somebody knows something...

i think if the tranny sensors arent hooked up, they do that?

mine did that right b4 it went dead and from what i here its some thing with the distributor. im not sure yet im getting another one and when i hook it up if it works i'll let you know.
