All said above ...plus could be your fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, flush out your radiator...be very sure ur using NGK spark plugs , i use Iridium...beautiful. Ngk wires wouldn't hurt either.

I have a full 3 inch setup...u will lose some, acceleration with an exhaust and intake only. (look where your bottle neck is) Once you have the intake, test pipe, exhaust and headers...you will fill the power from the get go.

most of the stuff listed has already been done. my uncle has his old blown motor and the distributor is good so i was thinking to just swap it, but does anyone with experience with distributor know if the distributor could have that big of an efect.

well it could be a maf being dirty of engine coolant sensor taking a shit my car will do that about 2 to 3 times a month i also have an intake and it didnt make the car much faster it did make a difference at like 5600 rpm to 7200 rpm it kept pulling i noticed stock ka's die out at about 5700 rpm i would say to check everything for wear think it of this way the only things that would make it change is AIR, SPARK, FUEL good luck is it dual overhead cam or single
