my boss has a 300z w/ few things done to it. He's running rich and wants to know what to do about it. he thinks his injectors are too big for his setup (not sure what all it involves, hes got around 500 to the wheels). What im thinking is for him to turn the boost up... or could it be the ecu needs to be fine tuned more? thanx for your help.

does he have a vaccum leak. a leak will make him run rich. is he blowing black smoke out the back and how much. depending on somethings he could also have a boost leak

sounds like a boost leak with that much power it is possible he blew a hose off. i did this once and car idled fine but when i got on it nothing but black smoke

 

i appreciate it man.. i'm gonna let him know, chk for loose hoses, and do a pressure test on it.

 

Bad o2 sensors can run rich too, but since its boosted im leaning towards leak on the cold pipe/intake somewhere.
