On a side note, I've sold the SDS and boost controller in an attempt to get the Z31 stuff, and install it, with a minor street tune. Unfortunatly the ECU is becomming a bitch to find. If anyone knows where I can get an 88-89 Z31 Turbo ECU+MAF, please PM me.
Until then, the car will be untuned, with 35# injectors, and a whopping 8psi. Very fast and scary.

Nope. Engine is STILL in the shop.
Today's update from them: They are sure it's something in the head. They said they found a broken EZ out in one of the intake manifold bolts. Which im sure they're meaning the exhaust manifold bolts, cause one is broken off that Matt couldn't get out last year. -- They said I had two broken injectors, and lots of "goop" which was gasket maker to stop the leak at the injectors. -- They are taking all the pistons out and checking everything tomorrow. They will call me when it's all ready.

They also said they beileve it is a broken "keeper" or something? In the head. They are attributing that to the blow-by from the motor, saying that the two cylinders they believe that are not firing are causing the massive blowby the motor is having.
I told them I didn't care anymore, to just fix the motor and get back with me.

dayhem...holy shit bro , i sure as hell hope this thing well be a beast when your done with all this bulshit...i remember almost going thru the same thing with the supra a few years ago, but my neglagence of disconnecting some vacumm lines and piling on more boost blew me up

Seems like you would have been better off to find an old 280Z with a rusted out shell and plucked the motor. Sounds like it would have been quicker and cheaper.

You're absolutely correct. Unfortunatly, I already have 500 into this motor, another motor would be at least 300 bucks. I just didnt want to have to deal with shelling out more cash then I needed to, when this was obviously thier fault, and should be under warranty. Unfortunatly, I always get the short end of the stick... and I should have cut my losses, and put all the new shit from this motor onto a junkyard engine... but I didn't.
