alright.. you guys have me thoroughly confused now. what is the correct way to installl these on a KA. left on left and right on right? ??:

 

Matt, do you mean 1.5cm ? Because that's a lot closer to the difference I have observed; 1.5mm is almost nothing.

As far as I know, all the right side mounts are the same, even though some say 'RH' and some 'R', but the 'L' and 'LH' ones ones are different. I think 'LH' is the KA mount and 'L' is the SR mount. Trust me there IS a real difference and I will post the pics when I locate them on this black hole of files I call a computer.

But if you don't believe me, just take a look at the heatshield on any left side Nissan S-chassis motor mount. Where the main bolt goes through the hole is siamesed for two different locations and there are 2 small holes above it for the dowel pin. That's to accomodate the difference in the two mounts.

yep. i saw that when i swapped them. the post moved from one hole to the other dueing the swap. and it fixed everything. motor fits great in it.
