Default nissan engine swap

I posted a thread earlier in the week about swapping an engine out of a '96 sentra. The responses I recieved said to use a sr20de or det. I found one on E-Bay but the seller said it would only fit 91-94. The car originally came with a 1.6L. I want to up grade since the engine is blown anyway. I know that I have to change the ecu and harness and the tranny. I would like to go back in with an automatic tranny. Any ideas?

a b13 motor should work with a b14 auto tranny, or g20 auto.
the only major differences between the b13 and b14 is the intake manifold, and throttle body location.

everything else should be similar though.
but youre still going to have to change motor mounts, and other things.
if youre wanting to stay auto, the sr20 isnt going to be very fast, and i still maintain that for what it seems you want to do with the car, id put in another ga16de.
