my swap is done just got F.M.I.C. on and took it for a test drive ,but this is my problem, at idel it back fires and pops (timing is dead on),-i go to drive it spits and sputers till i hit about 2500 RPM it runs smooth past that and has the power.............is it a boost leak,or o2 sensor,or what?

 

check for IC piping leaks.

 

check your mafs connection

 

if it was the mafs the car would buck ,and it dont buck ,its like taking off in therd gear(srarts off slow and thin it takes off at about 2500 rpm) its almost like big turbo lag?...............now if i eazz in to the throttle its fine ,?

 

does it rev past like 3500rpms

 

oh yea ,..............but i think it might be boost leak

 

SR's tend to backfire alot as far as i know...vacumm lines?

 

i dont know whats wrong? its like its too rich or something
