there is always power to be found in tuning, as soon as you change how the car came form the factory, the tune is comprimised and has to be changed to suit the changes you've made to the setup, you'd probably be surprised to see how far off your cars tune is right now

Theres nothign wrong with AFC, just something to playwith, without spending 650. I dont have enough mods in my mind to rom tune. Im waiting for the following: GT25R, 550 injectors, some sorta after market exhaust mani, external waste gate, maybe intake mani, maybe cams, dish the APC filter for a K&N, and Scotts pipes. THEN do rom tune. DUDE GET THE CAR F*CKING TUNED. STOP B*CHTING. NO BOLT ON WITH TUNING IS WORTH SHIT. RUN 12's Any questions? F*ck the fly wheel and get the intercooler piping fixed! OK IM DONE

I wouldn't go with anything less than 13-14 pounds, anything less than that and driveability will be comprimised, stop and go traffic will be a nightmare.

As for the install if you have the tools and the work wont be a big deal go for it and throw in a good clutch while you are it.
When shifting, revs always "fall" the same ammount, thats because at a given speed and a given gear.. RPM's are still the same.. For example.. with or without a light fly wheel.. if u shift outta second at 6800rpm and like 58mph.. you'll end up at 4200 or so at 58mph in 3rd... speed in a gear has nothing to do with horsepower, flywheels, or anything besides transmission gear ratios, final drive ratios, and over all wheel+tire circumference..

THANK YOU SLASH!!!!!!!!!

oh my goodness, finally someone gets it.

people says with a lightened flywheel the car falls out of boost. uhh.

maybe what they mean is when they shift into the next gear that extra inertia the 30 lb flywheel has is enough to bark the tires or spin the tires some more, but you'll be at the same rpm when you shift with a 2lb flywheel as you will a 30 lb flywheel.

But on Gran Turismo it does.
