Default KA24DE UR Pulley Set News

Guys, just ordered a set due to the good pricing. Wanted to let you know they have the following blow-outs/specials:

1. All accessory pulleys except crank are $59.
2. 2 full SS sets at $240 +S/H (blemished though)
3. Brand new SS set for $275 shipped.

I'm no way affiliated with UR, just spreading the news in case anyone is interested.

Jesse

PS - I'll sell my ASP underdrive pulley for cheap. I'll install it too if you come to the shop.

Hey Matt, Any reason for not using them? price seems good.....You've had any experience with them or know who had em.....Not pullin' ur chain or anything, was just curious to see why you felt that way.......or yeah, what do you recommend, Greddy Pulleys or something........

Thanks
RINKU

Oh, jeez. The old harmonic dampening issue. That issue was laid to rest years ago. No KAs have fell apart due to this. I've been running my ASP for 35k miles. Granted, having a lightweight flywheel AND pullies should make things out-of-synch but KAs don't need to be revved high. Aluminum driveshaft here I come

Jesse

PS - Rinku, there are cheaper options for the SR...

Jesse, you're right.

No ka's taht hve revved past 7000 have blown up .

but ALL ka's that regularly revved past 7200 HAVE.

reasons?

harmonics.

With a balanced rotating assembly as well as a proper dampening setup on the crank pulley I plan on having a redline of 7400 with the KA24DE i'm building.

Yes, 7200 RPM is the magic number for us KAs. Remember though, the NASPORT 300whp NA KAs run to 8k RPM with stock crank (cleaned up of course).
