I dont think with the SR's is a priority mod. Your going to probaly spend about as much as a aftermarket clutch roughly. Im not 100% sure, but I dont think you want to get too light of a flywheel, because with FI, you dont want your rpms to drop too fast.

FYI People with lighten flywheels tend to run .4 better than ones without, or so previous track days have shown us.

I wouldnt disagree at all, I've just heard from some builders that a flywheel that is too light say..9lbs or less maybe actually makes you slower or lose power. I know when I was building my GSR I was told to get a 10lb or 11lb nothing less because I wouldnt want to drop rpms so fast I would fall below my powerband.

I love the flywheel it makes the engine rev so much quicker, and if you shift quickly the revs wont drop much.

I wouldn't go with anything less than 13-14 pounds, anything less than that and driveability will be comprimised, stop and go traffic will be a nightmare.

As for the install if you have the tools and the work wont be a big deal go for it and throw in a good clutch while you are it.
