Well I guess I was just confused about the potential of each motor... From what i've been reading, the RB sounded like the better choice because it was much easier to get hp out of. But if that isn't the case, and it would be safe and easy to make 400rwhp on the lighter SR then that seems like the way to go. However, If I can rebuild the KA and achieve my hp goals with a usable torque curve then I might just do that. I guess I just still have some research to do and some questions to ask....

Also, the SR has an aluminum block while the KA is iron correct? Does anyone know off the top of their head which head flows better from the factory, the SR or KA? (don't want to start another SR vs KA battle, just looking for specific facts
