I looked at the motor in depth today as well as researched it. The most it says on the block is vg30. However, Y32 is written in marker on the manifold, so its from a y32 cima cedric/gloria which came with both engines. However from pictures i have found of both engines, the NA version has a more rounded manfold with one throttle body. The turbo version has the manifold that our engine has with two. On the turbo version is says ceramic turbo on the pipe between the turbo and throttle bodies, but that pipe is missing. I cant find a single picture of a jdm VG30DE that looks like ours. However, it also seems that all the JDM VG30DETs have red valve covers where as ours are champagne. Also I didnt notice an oil feed plug for the turbo, but didnt look that hard. Odd. Anyways, off topic.
