Default CA 18 Det

Hey ,
Anyone have any advice on a ca18det. I want to make a true 180sx and I have a friend in tally who's dad wons a shop and can get me a front clip for 900 dollars plus shipping. what do you guys think..

by the way its compression tested and leak downed.. It roughly has 44,00 km.

for the most part even 180sx's came with the SR... only the first 2-3 years came with the CA18DET

That's a good deal.

Slash: Are you sure the 180sxs came with SRs? Every other nissan model coincides with displacement, why would they do that on just those.

Well from what I hear was the SR was just a better built engine more displacement ie , the japanese nissna guys perfered it in all silvias and 1801sx's

yeah they only came with the 1.8 liter CA18DET and CA18 while the model was very young......... most of them (1990-1998?1999?) had SR series motors...

Although I'd love to see a pie graph showing what percentage of ALL S13's were made with KA, SR, and CA... I have a feeling that KA motors would be king, I dont see them selling more S13 chassis's in japan than here in america (despite our shit motor)

Im going to buy it its only 900 bucks for the clip with ample power for drifting plus its unique......KA's are good...... truck motors.
