250Hp you'll be good. it's like martin said, they are finicky motors. so try not to abuse it to bad. tuning roms for one is very easy though!!

The straight T4 was so big the turbine side of the turbo wouldnt fit with the booster .

Stupid RHD manifolds and them forgetting the US' stuff is on the otehr side right in the way of that crap .

hell, im looking at going rb26 instead of SR even, it calculates out to more "bang for the buck"

If 10k for 80 or so flywheel horsepower when you could get that with 2k in mods on a 2500 $ SR is bang for the buck then uhh yea .

Not to mention it's heavier and will mess up the weight balance and parts are harder to find .

 

you dont believe that "280hp" gentelmen's agreement crap, do you? the rb26 is over 300hp stock, and the block is practically indestructable. the 26 is only about 100lbs more than the sr, and that wont throw off much, since the sr is also lighter than the ka that came out of the car. I'm just exploring my options, and trying to be creative since there are so many SR's around. No disrespect, just finding a niche....

 

There's alot of SR's around ye a. Because it's decently cheap and the mtoor is great .

Although RB swaps are pretty cool . If your really intrested let me know . I have a buddy in japan who cang et me what ever I want .

I'll ask him to check for RB26's in the yard next time . He said there was an R33 GTS-T Last time . So you need that tranny anyway . Just be sure to checl the RB swap sites for some good info .

I dont knock the 300 rating . I just dont see why a car with HKS 2835's , Power FC , Injecotrs , eshaust , DP all that only has like 450-475 .
