Default odd problem need some help...

ok so, first things first...
CAR is a 95 GST eclipse stock for the most part couple small bolt ons.

PROBLEM: The coolant temp gauge will read normal at idle, as soon as you give it a lil throttle wether in nuetral sitting still or under a load while driving the temp gauge will almost instantly start to rise like the engine would be over heating... but as soon as you let off the throttle and the rpms drop so does the temp gauge. like instantly...

now also the anti lock brake light comes on when the gauge starts to rise and goes off when the temp starts to drop...

i myself am baffled. ive never had a car do this before and i have somebody wanting to purchase the car but im not gonna sell it with these issues.

so if anyone has any insight to the cause of this issue please do share.

thanks in advane

If there is no coolant in the oil or vice versa...no smoke from the exhaust then I would check the wire for the coolant temp gauge at the sender. The plug (single wire near water neck) tends to break and come loose. Ive also had an axle eat through the wire harness and damage that wire. Also thermostat could be stuck or maybe the sensor is dirty.
