Maybe the tensioner/tensioner bolt fell off and thats why the belt came loose?

Sounds like my car when I bought it, shit was just falling off everywhere. Previous owner apparently had never heard of a torque wrench. Do yourself a favor and do a once over on all the bolts/nuts you can find before your lower control arm comes unbolted and you gotta call a tow truck! lol

and yeah I'd say wire that portfueler in (looks pretty straightfoward) before you do too much boostin!

as it sits right now the alternator will not even budge for me to put the belt on so is it possible for it to have just had to tensioner removed and bolted straight onto the car.. because i took the swing bolt off so it can move.. and it doesnt move.. bah i just need someone to come over and look at it...

and about the bolts not being on tight.. the strut bar bolts were all loose also.. gonna check the turbo manifold tonight..for all i know it could be loose too...damn DSMs...

as for the portfueler..Dude i dont even know where it is or what it looks like...

there is a large bolt on the lower section of the alternator where it mounts to the block.... crack that loose. Then there is the adjuster and lock nut.... loosen the lock nut and turn the adjuster in. Replace belt, tension and tighten it back up. Put it up for sale on 2gnt if you dont want it. I hope it ends up in the hands of someone with a little knowledge about these cars or you start reading lol
