Whats going on dsm world? havent been on in a while since my cars been down and ive been saving for my build. After talking to drew and doing some research ive come to a conclusion on what im going to do. Ive decided to do a stroked motor 2.3 motor with a gt35r.. what do you guys think? i always like to hear what my fellow dsm owners think

 

sounds like a nice build, dont forget to save money for drivetrain parts u'll be breaking with the tq from a 2.3.

 

why not get a holset HX35 for about 800-900 brand new or pick up a used one on ebay for less than 400 bucks. Cheaper AND flows more then the 35r. Or is you really want to make some power look into the HX40.

 

im still debating on the turbo..but thanks for the adivce jr..im definetly gonna put money aside incase any tranny parts break. I made the smart choice by saving the money for the build and not taking out a loan. too bad you guys havent seen my car before i havent been out much lately while its down.

 

same setup i had but in my evo...well i had a 37r but still a nasty setup regardless and like jr said...dsm tranny and torque dont mix well why not just go full 4g64?

2.0L with the new precision 67mm will be killer, laggy turbo but when it hits u'll be out...

Strokers are fun dont get me wrong but whenever I would run cars with good top end like lets say v8's...when they slam 4th they would start reeling me in. but then again i was a shitty driver lol

 

^ yea shitty drive.... u had a 67mm with big cams, how did u not pull people in top end?
