Damn bro, like I said you shoulda checked for spots like that on the tires, and you SHOULDNT have taken it, you should have left it there because now they can say they didnt do that. And like Frodogt said throw around the word negligence, no wonder the guy on the phone went on forever about how they are professionals. Did you call back and bitch about the tires?

If you want I have 2 spare stock rims with decent tires on them if you want them for FREE.

And bro, you should get some of these stickers off of ebay, they are only a couple bucks.

That was intentional. The driver was being a prick. What tow truck driver is not going to look in the window to see if the hand brake is up. He just didn't give a fuck and now they are getting a good laugh at your expense.

Invalid parking is not an excuse for the tow company to be negligent. You accepted responsibility for your actions by paying the company for your mistake. Now it is time for the company to pay you for their mistake. Don't let that shit slide - they will just fuck someone else as soon as they get the chance.

I know I was just so pissed at the time I wasnt thinking straight, I did look at the tires but it must've been sitting on top of the flatstop, and the tires were covered in dirt so it kind of hid it. I kicked the dirt of when I drove it, so therefore I immediately noticed it when I got home.

Your right the only problem is, supposing they try to fight this, they can try to say they didnt do that to my tires, and Id have to be able to prove they did.

I spoke with some lady at the tow truck company earlier this mourning and she just took my information down and was going to fax it to the owner and have him call me back. The lady I spoke with over the phone even suggested for me to just take it to someone to inspect it so I can get something written down by a proffesional based on the damages.

Id love to take it to Drew and have him write me out some statement that not only my rear tires being screwed, but my drivetrain as well so I can possibly walk out with more but I wont gamble with that for now and Ill just at least work on getting new tires and see if the company would just be willing to replace them without any court situation. Since its only Civil court it wouldnt be worth the headache to try to get more out of them if they are willing to replace the tires (hopeing there isnt any other damage)

I am taking my car up to a tire shop in a few mins to get them to write me out some kind of statement showing the damages done and hopefully get them to agree with me that the car needs all four new tires and not just two ( being its a AWD vehicle) and have them sign off on it and then perhaps I can take that statement to the tow truck company.

The average tow truck driver around here is probably just some ignorant grimey scum bag that doesnt give a fuck. No different than these local greesy shade tree mechanics that dick people over when they try to get their car fixed. But I know the VC can handle a little bit of heat from an improper tow, it doesnt just break instantly, so right now I have good faith that the ebrake limited damage to only the tires... Maybe Jerry ( LancerMan) has any input on that?

Drew, your shop is certified and stuff right? Im going to call you up in a little bit, in case the company isnt willing to work with me and it goes farther and suppose there turns out to be drive train damage I may need you to inspect the car and vouche for me or something, I dont want to be too optimistic that its only the tires, because I only drove it back home and havent touched it since.

Oscar- can you get z.225/50/r16 Hankook Ventus RS2's at your job?

has anyone else thought about this but your car is awd ... when pulling a rear wheel drive car it isnt safe nore good on the transmission because of the pumps not working you have all that wear on the tranny in witch can cause something to over heat thus go out at a later point therfore is the reason why most people snatch the drive shaft out... i know some tow yards that will take the drive shaft our of awd and rear wheel drive cars... make sure you get a good through look on the tranny and drive train...

Oh and Ill pass on the tires, but yea thanks for that offer appreciate it.

I dont want to badge the car because it would defeate the purpose of being a sleeper if it had a big AWD sticker on the window or something. Besides most people driving around on the street think my car is non turbo, especially since it doesnt have a wing.

I'd hate to bring up this senario but is it possible they did break into the car and did put the E-brake down but after pulling it with the rear wheels spinning freely the tires eventually locked up and started to drag?

even though in neutral its still causeing the drive shaft to spin there for pumping fluid inside the transmissions but its not pumping and cause it to over heat... just telling you so you can look out for the obvious...
