whats the fun in racing your car if its going to put a huge dent in your wallet every time you run?

Then you wouldn't want to race it all the time, and what is the point of building a car if your not going to race it?

race fuels are just that. race fuels. if you set your car up on race gas its only fun with race gas. its no longer a street car after that. no fun as a street car anyway. been preaching that since day one. someday it may take.

If you have to have c16 performance. then take the time to build a second fuel system. switching back and forth is a simple flip of toggle switch on the aem.

Sounds like a good idea, I might think about doing that one day

They're expensive but not that expensive

I have tried all 3 meth race and nitrous and 2 out of 3 were inconsistant for me that was meth and nitrous race gas has not let me down yet thats all I know and yes its a little expensive but not if you do like jerry said and create a secondary fuel system then you could run 93 and c16 with not putting a dent in your pocket.

Last time I checked that's what good C16 went for and VP Import was actually $28 a gallon. And that's MSRP not my cost.

If it's a fun street car then why does it require race gas and can't go fill up at any regular gas station? To say that a car that can only run at top performance on the street requiring race gas or vp import is any more of a street then the same car but with meth has no grounds to stand on. Both cars you can't fill up except at a special place or your garage and your car cant run top notch without it, but with meth atleast it's cheaper and you can save weight by ditching the FMIC system.

No one I know pays $16.00/gallon for C16 or $28.00/gallon for VP Import. We could quote MSRP for anything and it would be expensive

Meth is great but I have seen people have a lot of problems locally. More than a couple people have gone through four or five pumps. The down time waiting for the pump to come back. Seen a couple people with no safe guards melt pistons. Seen a couple people for one reason or another fill their cylinders and bend rods. So to say meth is the best solution is wrong. It might be a cheaper solution in short

Even pump gas is fun for a while. Once you want to step up to the big dogs you're going to need race gas
