Yea I had albie1kanobi post in here because I driven his sti and I know what number they put out due to his mods. The post Ls1fever put up didn't sound right to me at all. Hope that clears some of the comparisons up.

I know Blacksti personally and i have ridin in his car and he only has a few mods and i would never even think of running him from a roll or dig and i have a gsx with a built motor wit a big 16g

I had a 17c which is like an evo 16g and I ran both albie1kanobi and I'm slow.(Joe) On a stock sti turbo, get a high 40-50 roll race in and see what happens. If anything, it'll let you know where you car stands against an sti. Then you come back stronger.

i didnt mean anything against civics in my last post. im just saying that the kid i bought my car from had no clue when it came to modding this car. he had the fmic on it, stock injectors, stock bov and intake pipe, 14b, boost controller and afc, and walbro 255 fuel pump. the afc was tuned HORRIBLY!!! and as he is showing me the afc controls and all that, im looking at him like "wtf were you smoking when you started turning dials on this thing". he said "only let professionals touch this cuz you could mess up yo engine".

i was like whatever, and drove it like that for a while. it looked fast, and sounded fast, but it was breaking up badly. i was getting 10's and 11's at sunshine.. since ive done everything else to it and got it tuned, i havnt really raced it, havnt taken it to the track, nothing. ive gotten on it a few times, but never next to anyone.

in my opinion, i think STI's are respectable cars. something like the fastest car stock under $100k? thats what i heard when they were first coming out in america. so i started this whole thread because if Brainlessher0 is putting 2 cars on an sti from a roll, makes me think my car might be stronger than i thought, seeing as how i have almost the same mods as him. ive been living in the delusional world of "your own car always seems slow to you". you know what i mean?

well if you would fill your nitrous tank up, then id gladly drive it once.

ive never been in a car with nitrous before.

look at a war story i posted about 6-8 months ago. i raced flaco_gst with a 17c and all the supporting mods. all i had was a TBE and an OTS stage 2 map and i was at about 270awhp.


if you want to put a STi at a disadvantage, race him from a high roll like 50-60. anything below im sure he'll get ya.

i think the 6spd is only at a disadvantage at the tracks or from a dig. the 6sp will always keep the sti in its power band and always in boost rom a roll. but the 07 have longer gearing.
I did not mention 04-06. I said 07. Look on the NASIOC board and look for yourself. I will try to find it and post it up.

07 STI - catless, intake, EWG - Proven Power Bragging - NASIOC

Check post #16. Guy made 313whp on 93octane with 3 mods. I may have overexagerrated a little bit on power, but this was done on a mustang dyno, and I was talking about a dynopac. Mustang dynos read low and dynopacs read high, just as a reference.

I am still trying to locate the post where I seen one making 400+whp on a stock turbo.
