I will be honest with you. The new 07STIs are freakin monstars. Shops have already reported minor supporting mods on a stock turboed 07STI on pump gas made over 400whp on a dynopac I believe was the dyno. With methonal and more boost, I think Ive seen on NASIOC or whatever the hell board that is, that someone made close to 480whp. The new STIs are beasts, and that is all on just a flashed ecu.

Your modded and if you feel like driving to daytona beach ill be more then happy to race you. I am guessing you are pushing some tasty numbers so maybe you would want to run the evo?

 

With simple bolt ons the STI is amazing. He is basically stock! I could get near 400hp with meth and a couple more minor upgrades from my 16g (maxing it out). Stock for stock the sti owns but my car being moded and semi tuned i had the advantage.

 

blacksti, ill run you from a roll. but im not saying ill win or anything, i just saw from brainlessher0's post that it was possible to beat an sti from a roll with the mods he has.

i know you have some good mods done though. id race you just for fun though, just to see how my car compares to some of the other cars on here since ive modded it.

 

the kid who owned the car before me was bragging about how it beats evos, sti's, 350z's, mostly anything, from a roll. when i got the car it bogged down so bad and was so badly tuned, civic ex's were pacing me. now ive got some good things going with it, so it should be a good race.

and im not trying to start any drama at all, just want a friendly race.

 

a sti 04-07 on stock turbo will not hit 400awhp or come close. tq-hell yeah!

look at a war story i posted about 6-8 months ago. i raced flaco_gst with a 17c and all the supporting mods. all i had was a TBE and an OTS stage 2 map and i was at about 270awhp.


if you want to put a STi at a disadvantage, race him from a high roll like 50-60. anything below im sure he'll get ya.

i think the 6spd is only at a disadvantage at the tracks or from a dig. the 6sp will always keep the sti in its power band and always in boost rom a roll. but the 07 have longer gearing.

 

also if it only have an intake and mbc, you get him. also tell him to remove the mbc if he expects that engine to last.

will do, I found its easier just to brake boost 10lb against smaller faster spooling turbos. I am actually considering switching setups to a t-28 turbo.
