You guys really don't SEE the point and persist to argue...
He simply wanteds to know if they exist in Japan and I brought up facts that they did. Have you seen one of the 15 gulled wing 1g's in the state? Didn't think so.
No where did he ask where they were manufactured. Take the time to read things carefully before trying to argue with me.
Yeah read the description on the Euro tail lights cycloc... its stated they are shipped from Japan. So really where are you trying to get at now.
See everyone said "NO" and now I brought up facts and you question it. Ha... I say... why because no one took the time to research. I was in the DSM game for years upon years unlike some. So don't question facts... question your false information.
I got repped from the threadstarter because I answered his question. He could careless where they were manufactured... what DSM stands for... or even the DSM venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi which ended in 1993.
One day people will appreciate some good information coming from me till then think and say what you want. But without proof you have nothing.

The swap is really easy. The only thing you would need to put evo brakes on a 2g are the steering knuckles from the newer galants(not sure on year but theres a write up on dsmtuner somewhere, and its the u.s.model galant not japanese). and u need to edge up the dust shield a little. other then that all the lines hook right up.(you'll need larger wheels obviously then the stock 16" gst wheels. I think 17's would work
If that were the case... if it were that easy a lot of 2g owners would have done it by now.
