alright i'll try that. do you think it could just be the harness, because the previous owner took it to a local mitsu dealership, and they butchered the fuck out of the wiring harness.

I have a feeling it's your CKP. Does the car just die like bam, or does it seem to go a bit crazy at first as if your timing is off then dies?

EDIT: also, did you check the wiring harness like I recommended? If that egr got to any part of the wiring harness, it would throw off your CMP signal or even set off the ASD relay thus killing the car.

i'm going out right now to check the wires running to the cps. i'll check out the egr and see if it damaged anything. when it shuts off it studders for like 3 seconds, like it will almost die rev up to 1500 quick and then shut off.

wires looked good running to the ecu, so i wiped out the cam sensor and it ran upto the same spot on the temp gauge and shut off.

umm...

Like I said, I think it's the CKP. You're driving then all of a sudden it's as if your timing has jumped a tooth or somethin, loss of CKP signal, then ASD turns the car off.
