Default small turbo upgrade, need advice!?

i have a 91 plymouth laser RS aka talon aka eclipse, its is stock turbo, and my turbo now is currently, well f*** up, i got a TD05D big 16G Turbocharger, and well it says its a direct fit to the factory set up, the orignal turbo is a 14B turbocharger, should i go with it?

also my following plans are get a high flow air filter, then aftermarket turboheaders, and then new piping, maybe 2.25" all the way back with a aftermarket muffler, and no cat. conv. then some sprint lowering srings, and a front and rear sway bars, those this lil set up sound ok? wish my car was a stick tho...

big 16g is a direct bolt on
intake/filter would be a good start
hard IC piping would be a great thing if your gonna install a 16g
you only need 1 header
2.25 is pretty much stock. most people go with 2.5 or 3 inch piping
if your gonna put on a 16g, a fuel pump would be good to get also

dont forget about gauges too. you need to know whats going on with all that stuff

go with 3 inch piping, the 16g is a direct replacement for a 14b

If your car is an auto then out of the factory it came with a 13g. Inorder to bolt up any 14b/16g you would need to upgrade/swap a few parts. Which I think are: Coolant lines going to the turbo, oil lines going to the turbo, exhaust manifold.

DSMotorsports sells a 1g auto to 16g package but they want $400. I wouldn't pay that much for it, you can source out those parts for a lot cheaper.

Here's the link for the one DSMotorsports sells:
DSMotorsport Turbocharger Parts

Now as far as the mods planning:

Turbo
If you have the factory turbo (13g) then a 14b upgrade is a good upgrade, 16g would be even better.

Exhaust
Exhaust... I would go with 2.5", this is what I'm going to go with here in a few weeks. Also you can either run a high flow cat or a test pipe. I would also upgrade the downpipe and o2 housing.

Intercooler Piping
Before upgrading your intercooler piping, decide whether you want to continue running your sidemount intercooler or get a front mount intercooler. You don't want to buy aftermarket sidemount intercooler piping and then decide oh I want a front mount kit now. You'll be wasting money then. My opinion, get a front mount intercooler kit either buy one or build one.

Sway bars
Aftermarket ones are not really needed at this time unless you plan to AutoX the car anytime soon.

Air Filter
Well a free mod is hacking your MAS, then if you choose to stay with the 1g MAS then buy a K&N intake filter. These you can buy at a Advance Discount Auto Parts store and pretty much anywhere else that sells auto parts.

Fuel Pump
Walbro 190lph I would go with (thats what I'm going to go with), if you go with a Walbro 255lph you will need to upgrade your FPR.

Everything above is my opinion, you need to set a horsepower goal and then research on what to upgrade to get close or to that horsepower goal. Before a lot of those mods you want to get an aftermarket boost gauge, datalogging package.

i have a 14b sitting in my garage $100. no shaft play.
ready to pick up whenever you are
you might wanna get a different exhaust manifold to go with a turbo, if i remmber correctly the outlet on the manifold for a 13g is smaller than a manifold for a 14b. try to find a 2g manifold if you can
