Default Wastegate problem

Well i got bored today so i started to put on my new radiator hoses, and i decided to investigate the problem of why my wastegate didnt seem to be actuating. When i removed the actuator arm from the little thing that connects to the flapper i found that the flapper is sticking somehow. I cant even really explain the situation but you have to like jiggle it while trying to open it. sometimes it opens and sometimes it doesnt. What are my options to fix this? is it possible to replace just the flapper and the arm that controls it or do i have to get a whole new hot side of the turbo?

you might have to buy the whole actuator assembly, but the part thats sticking is the actual flapper inside the turbo?

I cant really tell if its the flapper itself or the part that goes from the indide "through" the turbo to the outside that connects the flapper to the actuator arm.

Well i moved it a round a bunch hoping that it would loosen up but it didnt really do anything. I adjusted the actuator arm so that when it is not extended, it is holding the wastegate open just a little bit but now the car wont run right. Its acting like i have a vented BOV, and everytime i let off the gas it stumbles and dies. im gonna try to adjust it back to the way it was to see if that is the problem.

I think the actuator is fine, i think its trying to work but the flapper is so hard to move the actuator doesnt have enough power to get it to move.

You can hit the actuator with some air and see if it pops the arm out.
I have neard of the flapper getting stuck in some of those turbos. You will just need to take the housing off and look at it from the inside. Hopefully you are luckier than them.

How do i do that? I know they have vaccum hand pumps but i think i remeber seeing a hand pump that created pressure instead of vaccum?
