so thats what 500+ hp gets you. then youll need almost 800hp to beat him.

 

When you say "Basically stock truck", it doesnt mean much when stock is a supercharged V8. Thats why I said only 12.7's, it was fast, but not for the size of the engine or the cost of the vehicle. 4g63 is literally half the engine.

 

Dont WRX's pull 0-60 seconds around 5.5?

 

lightning's are nice trucks.. but i dont understand what the whole thing is the lightnings like digs as much as awd.. that just doesnt make any since... lightnings with enough power need slicks to have traction... for instance the silver lightning on spray and stand alone and all that hes like around 7's in the 1/8 and he said that he didnt take it 1/4 mile yet but it didnt even eat a z06 with buld ass tires off the line and the lightning had slicks... maybe im wrong but w/e its just my opinion... their still badass trucks

Wait a tick...why would it take 800hp to beat him? I don't understand how you're getting "800"... I'd be AWD, lighter, and more aerodynamic. Wouldn't it take LESS hp to beat him? I had a 300hp Cadillac, but it couldn't take a 160hp RSX in the 1/8. Why? Because even though I had almost double his power and torque, I was more than twice as heavy.

Think about it this way...

600hp Eclipse GSX v. 600hp Lightning

Who will win?

They both have 600hp, but the GSX is lighter, more aerodynamic, and has better traction.
