I don't see how re-posting a thread that was previously locked helps mitsu tech at all. Yes, Stephan is a thread nazi but look at the bullshit he has to deal with. It was closed, so move along and drop the subject. I think it might be time to start banning people from Mitsu Tech.


I agree that the attitudes need to change. We all need to be more helpful and supportive of ALL members, new and old. However, a few posts here and there off-subject and joking keep us interested and build a friendship. Learn to take a joke, let things roll of your back.

If you have a problem with one member specifically, contact him/her how you would in the real world. Would you go up to him in front of a crowd and call him out? NO, so why do it on the internet? Send a pm, make a phone call....don't post a thread.

 

i agree with you Kristin, we should still be able to joke around and have fun like the old days when things werent so gay around here. It helps everyone come together, not have to worry about things getting deleted or locked because someones trying to get people takling again.

No matter where you go, what you say, or how hard you try there is always going to be an asshole. If someone posts a link, they are clearly trying to help. It is actually BETTER than giving them a straight answer. They will at least have to read and heaven forbid learn something while doing so, which may in turn save them from their next question that has been answered.

The kids today seriously need to grow the fuck up. I started posting on here when I was around 17 and had just bought my first car, '91 Galant VR4. I read everything I could about DSMs for a whole fucking year before I even thought about posting, and I still didn't know shit.

Life doesn't hand you everything on a silver platter, all anyone that knows something on here wants is for everyone to take a little time and research on your own a little before asking something that has been discussed for the past 10 years. These cars arent new by any means and just about everything has been done to them that there can be. There is more information out there than the average person can handle, so just read up.

If you cant take the heat, unplug your fucking computer and throw it out of your window. Just make sure you are tied to it and take the plunge as well. These threads get really old and its dissapointing when Moderators/Admin have to play babysitter every minute of the day.

stephan is a cool guy and if he's a mod then there's a reason he is and the rest of us aren't...so let him decide what thread he's going to lock etc etc etc...

 

Ok, I have sat back and watched this entire time without posting and everyone has their point of views and opinions. I sometimes believe this section gets out of hand, but it gets out of hand for a reason. Everyone was once new, I understand that, but the fact of the matter is, they can ask the same question 1 billion times and get a simple answer, and guess what? They are going to ask it again because they did not research why the answer is what it is. I, too, get annoyed at reading the same shit, over and over, but that is just the way it is. Everyone of us gets like that. Its the simple facts of life. The fact of the matter is, this bullshit just needs to be dropped. END OF STORY! I dont like the way some things are brought up in Mitsu Tech, along with the other manufactor forums from time to time. Everyone has a different personality and a different perspective on how things should be. This is why we have debates. They sometimes go overboard and sometimes they dont. My suggestion to all of Mitsu tech is to just start fresh, forgive and forget, and just let it go. If this is too much to ask, then I guess you just should not be here. I am not pointing at no particular person. I am pointing to everyone, including myself! There is no reason why Mitsu tech can not be a family, a friendly family at that. This is all I have to say. Flame me all you want, but I will say this. I have learned alot from doing research on my own and having good friends that are willing to take the time to help me. Mitsu tech has been a great help as well. There are lots of intelligent people on this board that are willing to help. I, for one, am one of those people. You can ask anyone that knows me on that level and they will tell you I bent over backwards for them. Alright, I have blabbed long enough. Take it how you want.
