On second thought

 

I have a question... how come if you put "evo" in the search it only comes up like 5 threads? Shouldn't there be more then 5, I mean evo this and that is discussed frequently. I would think you would find more threads. Reason I bring that up is because months back must of been this year if I recall someone posted 2gnt's with evo motors and I did a couple different searches and didn't find anything.

Fair enough, but the threads that go haywire are about topics that can be found easily with answers that are as specific as you're going to get in a response from someone on here. We're not talking about advanced tech questions.

That's where the sh*t goes down, and that's what the search button is for (among other things), and, finally, that why we have vfaq, stickies, and the like.

A d*ck reponse should be avoided, I suppose, but I'm inclined to agree that a reprimand for the d*ck response is also imprudent (unless you're a mod).

Finally, I notice that often the bullsh*t starts over relatively benign responses, which indicates that a few members are more sensitive than most.

 

Incidentally, as Jay mentioned, something is f*cked up with the search function on TR currently. I can't even search threads that I've created (and, obviously, titled) with keywords.

 

I think really people need to stop talking down to people. Meaning don't go around calling people dicks or assholes and shit like that. Keep it subtle. People agree and disagree, that should be taken in mind. Also a friendly argument doesn't hurt anyone as long as its on the subject and not directed towards someone or certain individuals. People get offended now-a-days by a lot of things, thats another thing to take thought to. I mean look at me months back... I would snap and be a smartass for almost everything as soon as one thing was mentioned about me or towards me. I guess lead by example... I have yet to lead. Still have a lot of changing to do.

Yeah I was hoping I could find that thread with the pictures of the Evo motor in the 2gnt. No luck... for some reason though its getting ones from 2001-2002 till recent but nothing really inbetween. Its picking up only some. I don't know why.
