i found my gst in the back of a small dealership. i stopped and asked whats the deal with it.....they told me it had a blown engine. i said how much? they told me 900.00. i said ill take it. i get it home on a tow truck and pop the hood, pop the timing cover and take a look. the top timing pulley bearing was shot so it let it jump time. i went got a new timing assembly for 110.00. fixed it.... turned right over. got me a running in good condition gst for bout 1000.

 

Pretty cool story. Hey knives if your interested go to Tran Auto Sales on Nebraska. There is a 95 GST with a rebuilt engine and head, perfect interior, basically stock but with a shogun (i think its what its called) front bumper. Its maroon with 119,xxx miles. Car runs and is $3,500!

 

are you sure that car is still there? I know what car you are talking about but i have not seen it since last semester (around christmas time).
