get evo 3 16g and kit, will end up costing 7-800 dollars(if you want a front mount add another couple hundred) and you will be able to make 300hp, and if u want to later(which you will) you can up the boost and make around 400hp, good idea for the long run and good for daily driver.

yea im just sayin, in the future you are gonna want to make more hp, dont say you arent cause you are, and its nice to have the capabilities right there with the turn of a knob and more fuel of course.

+1

If you buy a 14b for your car, you'll be wanting a bigger turbo within 2 months, guaranteed. The 16G is the turbo that these cars should have come with in the first place. Just save your $$ and buy the 16G..
Out of curiosity, what mods have you done to your car? If none, replace the exhaust, free up your intake with a K&N filter, remove the aircan, and remove the restrictor from the BCS. You should feel a noticable difference in the car with each of these.

so you have no money, and you're asking how far you can push a shitty turbo? think about it..

edit: you wont be getting 20psi boost without fuel turning. i run a 14b and full 3" exhuast, w/ stock injectors, no AFC, and stock O2 and Exhuast manifold and i get boost creep like a mother, cought it boosting 25psi once.

if you dont have money then dont do shit to your car. when you blow something up, you're fucked.

boost creep is when you set the boost for lets say 15 psi and the car some times starts going higer than that or is inconsistant. had that problem in my car and fixed it with a 38mm external wastegate.
im sure there are better ways to explain this but those are the basics.

as far as your t25 i did all the mods that goat said to my car and never had a problem it did creep in third gear though it would hit 19psi but then fall off to 15 again. Its fun for a little while but then you start wanting more so be smart and save your money for a 16g.

i honestly dont feel the 16G is all that, they should have come with the car as a stock turbo is a correct statement, but me personally, would never spend the money to use one as an "upgrade" turbo, its nice on a 2G cause its alot stronger than the T25, but im a power junky and love the slingshot effect from a larger T04E or 20G compressor based turbo, ya its a little laggier, but on pump gas my 50 trim powered 2nd gen was taking down every 16G car i raced by football fields, with them more often than not running alot more boost than i was...of course i didnt race Tom's galant, but that thing is a whhooolllee different story...this was also with the regular supporting mods you should have on any car with an upgraded turbo, fmic, fuel, tuning apparatus..you could get away w/ the 16G without doing all of that stuff...but it isnt gonna be able to run enough boost to make it really worth it...your car, do what you want, thats my take

Once I get my car closer to stock adn rixing all the little odds and ends to make it run reliably... Id love to go 20g or a 50 trim.

For now Ill be going back to a 14b and boosting the piss our of it (reliably of course.)

P.S. T-25s are worthless.
