Thats just stupid and shows your mentality.
I never said the johnny race core sucked.
What i said was that the evo fmic was designed to work well with the smaller factory mitsu turbos.
The johnny race core wasnt.
I wouldnt put a large fmic on a 14b car. It makes no sense to do that.
He has some large cores that would work well with big turbos.
Still wouldnt be my first choice but I could see someone with a larger tubo buying one for the price.
The original poster asked specifically about the evo fmic not for a buch of comparisons. And the evo fmic would be a perfect choice for his set up.

I offered a brand new intercooler alternative to the Evo8 fmic. I never said it sucked, or wouldn't do its job properly. I also never said it would be a better option than the Evo8 fmic for the original poster; but my idea was shot down for no reason by 4drwhore. Maybe he's still mad about that picture of him and his sisters...

So here we have 4drwhore who would prefer the evo8 intercooler any day of the week, and thinks JR is full of shit when they claim it supports 500whp, and Triple G, who thinks it is made for bigger turbos than 16gs, and therefore could support more total hp than the Evo8 fmic.

Interesting predicament. Which of your forum kings are you going to believe?

All Ian said was he had heard that the workman ship of them was shitty and they were thin.
He also stated that he had never personaly heard of anyone making any real hp with one.
I no nothing of their workmanship and am talking purely by the size of the core.
They may be shit and they may work fine. Dont know. What I do know is that the evo fmic is designed very well and works very well. And There for would be a great choice for his set up.
The johnnyrace core is just not proven enough to me.

I just think CC is jealous he has never even been in bed with 3 girls EVER, let alone at the same time. That or he is still having problems with turbo water lines.

I stated I would chose the Evo8 fmic over a JRC any day of the week. Maybe because it would be perfect for me for what I want to chose. Maybe I don't plan to run a t574967685 turbo and need a big intercooler and the Evo8 intercooler is PERFECT for my needs.

I also said that I PERSONALLY, IN MY OPINION that the JRC intercoolers are cheap pieces of metal. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY KIND OF PROOF of anyone doing anything impressive with one of those intercoolers. All I asked for was proof and no one could provide any. No one could even provide any proof that the JRC intercooler is just a little bit better then the Evo8 intercooler even though it might not see the 500whp as boasted about earlier.

I HAVE SEEN REAL WORLD PROOF AND EVIDENCE OF THE EVO8 INTERCOOLER, and I have not seen jack shit from the JRC intercooler. So I will stand by my posts untill some other kind of proof is posted.

So Filjar, I have stated my personal opinion and why I think that. Take it or leave it. YMMV

After reading up past this forum i think i'm going to go with the evo 8 fmic. Even if i move up to 16g (will never move past it) the evo 8 fmic is more than enough to support and it in fact designed for the 16g. So thank you guys for the information once again. Please don't argue over my stupid questions.

Thanks again guys. Does anybody know a place that makes 2.5 inch mandrel bends? How much do you think it would run to pipe + couplers on 14b? I'll let you know the next step.
