That is 100% correct on a 1g.
I will not say i am 100% sure they are different on 2g`s, but i believe they are.

same on 1g and 2g, it is an upgrade from AT to MT cams.

There are little markings on the end of the cams. "A" "B" "C" "D" "E" etc. These correspond to various mildly differing cam specs in the tech manual. There were different combinations of the above in various years, MT, AT, turbo, non-turbo cars. Some of them have slightly higher lift and slightly better duration and overlap specs, but nothing worth going out of your way to swap for in my opinion unless you're turboing an NT.
