Eclipse Died
Yep battery first, then mess with the alternator. Don't count on the cheap little Auto Zone test either. They told me my alternator was fine twice.....when it wasn't. I spent 2 weeks checking every wire, fuse and pulling out my subs to figure out what my problem was....just to find out it WAS my alternator.
Its not the Battery....i have tested it already and stated that in the thread 3 times. It was jumped and with the jumper cables on it, it still dies. The car started with the cables on it then died immediately without removal of the cables.
If your battery is good, then chances are it isnt your alternator either... if you have a battery pumping out 10-12 volts the car should still run....... Sounds as though you may have something else wrong with it... try starting the car and seeing if you can hear the fuel pump buzzing through the gas tank fill up tube.. one less thing to worry about. If you dont hear the fuel pump it may be your problem...

Ok, so I got a new battery, spark plugs, wires, and had the alternator tested/cleaned at an alternator shop, and it is producing what it is supposed to. I checked the ground wire and all the fuses and still will not run. Any other suggestions?
